The "SOULBOUND" Zine is an Akaza x Kyojuro and Kyojuro x Akaza centric fanzine/fanbook

Our concept being "the black thread of destiny", but in a Pin-Up form! or in other words, Akaza and Kyojuro being destined to collide together in every universe in a tense, angsty, romantic and passionate way.

The zine is currently designed to host approximately 14~15 artists and 4~5 writers.

Guidlines

Artists:
-A minimum of two samples, at least one must have a fully colored background (it doesn't have to be complicated, just avoid characters floating in the void or an empty floor)
-At least one sample must be related to KNY, preferably about Akaza and/or Rengoku.
-If you want to also make merchandise, you can add an extra sample of the style you would use for the merch.
-Portfolio link (optional)

Writers:
-A minimum of two samples, at least one must be under 1.5k. Longer works are allowed but they mustn't exceed 3k. (you can also give us an excerpt from a longer work if you don't have two works under 1.5k)
-At least one sample must be related to KNY, preferably about Akaza and/or Rengoku.
-Portfolio link or AO3 link (optional)

FAQ

What's the zine about?
It's a collection of AUs and canon divergence scenarios related to the concept of Akaza and Rengoku finding each other and colliding in a romantic/passionate way no matter in which universe they exist, but depicted in a Pin-Up book format.

Will the zine be physical or digital?
We would like it both ways, but we like to do the physical version if there's enough interest in the zine so we can afford to send a copy to all of our contributors.

How many contributors will it have?
Approximately 14~15 artists and 4~5 writers. We have 2 guest artists and 1~2 guest writers.

Is this a for-profit zine or a charity zine?
It's for profit. We want to at least afford to send one copy of the zine to all of our contributors.

Are other characters allowed?
As long as AkaRen and/or RenKaza
remains the central focus.

What's the word count per fic?
1.5k fits comfortably in 4 (B5) pages.

Will it have R18 content?
Printing and distributing fully NSFW content is a bit difficult, so we opted for Pin-ups, which is a more subtle depiction of erotica, so fully explicit content won't be allowed. Every contributor and consumer must still be 18+.

Are collabs allowed?
If both sides are fine with it.

Does it has to be angst?
It can be fluffier if you wish to, but it must be coherent with the theme and it can have a Happy End.
